Get the Look without Leaving Town

Bare faced with a gingham shirt and canvas tote, this girl is straight from the farm in the best possible way. She’s casual but not entirely carefree—a perfect look for visiting your chicken farming friend (which I have, so this is a real need) or heading to class.

Here’s where I’d head in town to throw this look together:

Jacket—Bittersweet
Shirt—Old Navy
Ring—Sustain
Tote—Who carries those awesome Cville canvas bags these days? EG used to. I would probably step this look up with a Filson tote from Albemarle Angler.
Belt—I always wear my husband’s belts; he’s added extra holes for me.
Trousers—Goodwill (the one on Pantops). If the homemade paper bag look is intimidating, keep your eyes peeled for the easier-to-wear version.
