Vintage Crockery

Aren’t these pieces beautiful? Sigh. Something like The Vintage Table doesn’t seem to exist in Charlottesville. Someone should totally start this here, though. A woman in England, called Clair, offers her personal collection of vintage china for rental. Genius! Emily, you should tell all of your friends in London to start using her services. Wouldn’t it be perfect for a bridal shower?

I’m obsessed with 1960’s and 1970’s dishes. Denby is a favorite and I have some of their vintage pieces but there are some really fantastic things out there. I was watching an old episode of the UK sitcom Good Neighbors and they were at an apartment in London with the most fantastic coffee set. I want it! We do need a Vintage Crockery shop. Circa sometimes has some good things (I’ve picked up some Russel Wright there) but it’s too hit or miss. Sigh
