Afternoon Tea

It was an unseasonably warm Sunday afternoon with sunlight streaming into large, open rooms. Dainty tea sandwiches, scones, tarts and madelaines were served with clotted cream, preserves and lemon curd. Darjeeling tea with cream in pretty china.

Afternoon tea at Keswick Hall is one of the reasons I love living in a place like Charlottesville!

Have you ever been? Wouldn’t it make a great bridal shower / baby shower venue?

I love Keswick Hall. Eric took me to a Mothers day brunch there two years ago. It has been my favorite Mothers Day thus far. Beautiful. I think I put some pics of the afternoon on Facebook.
Love this blog, Cate! So many great ideas
