Weekend Idea: Catered Dinner at Home

On Saturday night, our family celebrated my Father-in-law’s Birthday. My Mother-in-law, who is very chic, is also a talented cook and wine connoisseur. So I always look forward to dining at their home. Well, for this special occasion, she hired a personal chef to cater the meal as a surprise. And it was amazing!

Ashley East cooked a fabulous meal for us. Her mission is to prepare fresh, healthy cuisine for those who cherish excellent food. And she did not disappoint! Check out her website for more info. You can choose from her menus, or make special requests. And the best part is that her services are extremely affordable. Here is what she prepared for us:

Hors d’oeuvres
Mini Spanokopitta
Marinated Manchego and Roasted Red Peppers with Crostini

Main Course
Marinated Flank Steak with Horseradish Cream Sauce
White Bean Cassoulet with Garlic-Parsley Breadcrumbs
Romaine Salad with Roasted Red Peppers, Feta, Herbs and Pita Croutons
Parsley Mashed New Potatoes and Celeriac
Roasted Root Vegetables with Maple-Cider Vinaigrette

I am definitely going to hire Ashley the next time I throw a special party.
