Show Us Your Favorite Shoes

Above are pictures of my favorite shoes. The blue oxfords, I found on a recent trip to Paris; the hot pink heels were purchased for ₤4 at a charity shop in England (and make it out on rare occasions, like summer weddings). The lavender and gold heels were a steal at the J.Crew Warehouse. And I think you can tell that I have an affinity for t-strap sandals! Isn’t it amazing how our things can transport us so instantly to a memory so fresh it’s as if we haven’t grown at all from that point?

I recently came across Closet Visits, and I love the idea of peeking into someone else’s eclectic mix. But wouldn’t it be fun to see some things a little closer to home? We thought so, and so every once and a while, we are going to showcase your things (yes, you!). Perfume, a brooch, your most beat up jacket that you cannot part with, what’s on your bedside table, your front door…we’ll get creative, but, we need you to as well.

This week, we’d love to see your favorite shoes. Snap a few pics, email them to us at charlottecville@gmail.com by Wednesday night, and tell us why they are your favorites, what story they remind you of, or how you acquired them. We’ll post them on the blog next week.
