Godfathers of Glam

Lou Reed: Rick Owens jacket, t-shirt, and pants.

Shameless re-posting here. Did anyone else see this in the Sunday Times’ Magazine? Some favorites below, although they are not technically all glam guys.

Dave Gahan: Roberto Cavalli jacket and pants. His own Tom Ford shirt. His own boots and jewelry.
Nick Cave: His own Chris Kerr suit. Solange Azagury-Partridge ring. His own shirt, belt and shoes.

Bryan Ferry: His own Anderson & Sheppard suit. His own Sean O’Flynn shirt. His own Berluti shoes.
Iggy Pop: Prada jacket and pants. His own shoes. All images by Mikael Jansson.

So one of the greatest New York moments Dave and I ever had was when we were out to dinner for 2 year wedding anniversary and sitting next to us in the same booth was Lou Reed and possibly Nick Hornby. I don’t think DZ heard a word I said the whole evening . . .
