The Princess Party

Well, the princess party was a success! And how could it not have been with that dress. The whole wedding was perfection. We all had so much fun watching (most of us for the second, or even third, time) while munching on sweet treats and fun cocktails. I think there were 14 ladies total making it a real party. Here are some highlights, brought to you by the talented Kristin Moore.

My table of treats included cookies, cheese and crackers, cream puffs, berries, shortbread, pickles (we had to have something savory) and chocolate covered strawberries, courtesy of Hannah Byrd. But the main attraction: the cocktails!

I served mainly champagne and gin based drinks, and wrote out the various options on little cards. The main attraction ended up being the cosmos! They’re. so. good. But we also had Pimms cup, our attempt at being British.

After everyone arrived we went from the main room with all the treats (my living room, for all intensive purposes) to the smaller, tv room. Yes, I’m afraid to say, a few had to sit on the floor. But I think it worked out fine. This is when we passed around the princess cake, cupcakes and some delicious shortbread.

P.S.
The next day I took this shot as evidence of the fun that was had. Can’t wait until the princess baby shower!
