Happy Father’s Day, too

Before the day is done, I wanted to salute my dad. There is so much I could say, so much he has done and been for me over the years, it’s really hard to know where to start. But today, after some reflection, I wanted to thank my dad the artist. I’ve learned so much about creativity, painting, and nurturing the artist inside of me from my dad. He has always encouraged me in this area. One of my fondest memories is of my senior art show in college; to see the look of pride in my father’s face was an incredible feeling.

So thank you, Dad, for all the support, and for always encouraging me to explore what inspires me in life. Oh, and, know that I’m consistently inspired by your unending talent as a painter. I cherish your work and can’t wait to see more of it!

Love you, Dad. You’re just so awesome!
