Peach Picking

Peach picking is definitely one of my favorite things to do in the summer.  Last weekend we went to Chiles and enjoyed walking through the orchard, eating peaches, and loading up bags of peaches to bring home with us. There is nothing like a tree-ripened peach; we’ve already gone picking 3 times since the season started, and plan on going many more times before it ends.

We love to eat peaches with yogurt and granola, baked into cobblers, or our recent favorite: with chevre over toasted baguette with a little bit of honey drizzled over the top. So delicious!

Have you been picking yet?  What is your favorite recipe with peaches?

Don’t forget to try Chiles’s homemade peach frozen yogurt while you’re there, it’s so refreshing! 🙂
