House Tour: Simple and Chic in Berlin

A few years back, we visited our dear friends who were living in Berlin at the time. I remember being so inspired by how they were able to pull together such a chic space with so little. They are Americans, so they didn’t bring much with them other than clothing. That meant that they had to start from scratch; most things are IKEA, or Ebay. I love the red chairs, wispy white curtains and duel duvet covers, which is apparently a European thing. Shouldn’t we all pare down like this?

Thanks Jady and Liza for the inspiration! Speaking of which, be sure to check out Liza’s website. She is an amazingly talented painter and, although she now resides in Vienna, you can commission her from abroad!

Ugh, what do they do that they can live in Berlin? And now Vienna? So jealous! I’ll have to take up painting…
