A Quintessential Fall Weekend

A few weekends ago, my husband and I were lucky enough to get away to the country to a friend’s log cabin in rural Virginia. It sits on 100 acres right in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. There were cornfields. There was a stream. There were long grasses. The leaves were changing. It was heaven. We drank apple cider, read, hiked, and took in the beauty of Fall. And I’ve decided that the burnt orange, sandy beige and golden-yellow colors of Autumn are my favorite.

How have you enjoyed Fall?

    Jeal.ous. That place is beautiful!

  2. I think I’ve seen that place before! If not, its identical twin. Is it in/near George Washington?
